My lifelong love for animals has led me to volunteer at local animal shelters since I was a teen. That hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of animal personalities, proper handling, and their needs. As a mom to two wonderful kids and two equally wonderful dogs, my home is always filled with happy chaos! My commitment to animal welfare and high standard of care is what inspired me to launch Charlottesville Pet Concierge. I'm also proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA and regularly foster animals for our area rescues. With my hand-picked Care Team, you can rest assured your beloved companions will be cared for by truly passionate and experienced animal lovers. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your furry family!
My lifelong love for animals has kept me working with them for over 5 years. I love all animals, but definitely have a sweet spot for cats! Growing up I have always had animals and could never imagine my life without them. Currently I have 2 wonderful cats and they are spoiled rotten! I’m always extremely excited to meet new pets and shower them with love!
Animals (especially dogs) are my passion. I have 4+ years of grooming/bathing experience. In addition, I have worked at pet stores and boarding facilities. I'm a father of our 5 year old son, as well as our 6 year old, 4-legged scruffy princess. I trained her to nose touch, sit, lay down, shake paw, jump/stand, roll over, and more. Music, animals, and my family are my biggest passions, and I look forward to spending time with your precious pets--treating them with the same love I would show a member of my own family.
I grew up in rural Illinois where there wasn’t much around other than animals and corn fields. From the farms to the wildlife to pets, I wanted to be friends with every animal that I could find. As someone who enjoys distance running, my favorite runs consist of cows in fields running alongside me and dogs running from their porches to get some quick pets. I have always fulfilled my love for animals through pet sitting for family and friends. When I moved to Virginia, I just couldn’t give that up. I love getting to meet new pet friends and caring for them as if they were my own!
Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by animals! That early love evolved into a lifelong devotion—I’ve had my buddy, Myrtle the turtle, for 22 years now. My professional journey with animals started as a teen volunteering at vet clinics, which eventually led me to rewarding positions at the CASPCA and FSPCA. I’ve loved every minute of my work with these organizations, and I can't wait to meet your furry (or scaly!) family members.
I've had every type of pet imaginable growing up. From reptiles to rescues, house pets to farm animals–-at one point, we had 9 dogs at the same time! I've worked with animals with disabilities, medical and behavior issues–nothing fazes me. I love the challenge of figuring out the pets' needs and providing the best care possible.
A lifelong animal lover, my experience ranges from rescuing dogs to volunteering with Hope’s Legacy Equine Rescue. This passion eventually led me to horse ownership; today, my home is a happy 'menagerie' of three cats, two horses, 11 chickens, and two fish. Having cared for various species and temperaments, I provide safe, dependable, and compassionate care, treating every pet with the same devotion I give my own.
I've had a love for animals for as long as I can recall. From dogs to cats, rats to birds, and fish to snakes, I've had quite a range of pets to care for in my life—there are always some sort of critters in the house! Currently, my "home zoo" consists of my two crazy cats, but I've always been passionate about surrounding myself with animals no matter where I go. Volunteering at wolf sanctuaries, helping local farms, off-trail horseback riding, running a dogsled team, even riding alongside wild orcas... if animals were involved, I wanted to be there! I love working with animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, and I can't wait to love and care for yours!
I’ve loved animals my whole life. As a family, we dressed them up, took them everywhere with us, and spoiled them with love. I found my cat under our car, and we’ve grown up together ever since—even through our move from the United States to Indonesia. After returning to the states to study at UVA, I began working as a pet sitter and dog walker in 2025. I’m also a volunteer at CASPCA and Hogs and Kisses Farm Sanctuary. I love spending time with animals to help them feel safe, and I make sure they get lots of enrichment and exercise.
Equipped with skills from my time fostering with CASPCA and pet-sitting independently, I have a passion for the highest quality of pet care. I’m always excited to meet new cuties and enjoy working with them all. My own dog, Badger, and cat, Blu, are my companions and serotonin boost throughout my time as an engineering student at UVA.
Growing up in a pet-free home, I jumped at any chance to pet-sit for neighbors and friends. Those early visits quickly became the highlight of my week as I realized how much I loved caring for animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Over time, pet sitting became a true passion of mine. I’m excited to bring that same care, patience, and attention to your pets, making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy.
I’m a mom to a young son and one little diva doggy who keeps us laughing. Between parenting and finishing my studies in social work, I’ve learned how to juggle schedules, stay organized, and keep things running smoothly. Skills that fit perfectly with my coordinator role. I love supporting our team and helping families feel informed and cared for. I’m grateful to be part of a group that treats every pet like family.
